Abstract:
Biofertilizer is
an alternative source for chemical fertilizer to increase soil health
and crop
production in sustainable farming. Fish waste solution called
Gunapaselam is a product of easily available ingredients and it works as
a natural plant growth booster. Gunapaselam in the present study has
been evaluated for the efficiency of microorganisms, especially the
Ammonifiers, Nitrifiers and Phosphate solubilizer have been isolated and
characterized. Gunapaselam as a organic foliar spray is proved to be a
fertilizer which is beneficial to the soil and its application promotes
the growth of the plants.
